I can’t believe I’m more than halfway through my SDCC 2015 wrap up posts. SDCC this year felt like it went by WAY too fast and looking back at everything I did, I understand why. I kept myself busy 24/7 and day 3 was no different!
The 3rd day of San Diego Comic Con was a pretty big one for me! Mainly because it was press room day for me. I’d never done a press room before SDCC, so the nervousness/excitement had gotten to me by morning. The first press room I did that day was Ash vs. Evil Dead! I was very grateful I grabbed that room this year because, incase you didn’t know, I’m obsessed with The Evil Dead! Ash is one of my all time favorite characters and the movies are some of the best horror films out there. Doing the press room was actually REALLY relaxing. You just sit and chat with everyone and make friends with fellow writers. I honestly didn’t expect it to be that relaxing, but I loved it. (You can listen to all of my cast interviews here!)
After that, I headed over to Nerdist Conival to hangout with the SDCC gang! We went for laser tag and came out with a beautiful new friendship! Incase you missed our flailings on Twitter and/or Instagram, we the cast of The Maze Runner play laser tag. We also said got to speak to Dylan O’ Brien. IT WAS THE BEST THING EVER!
After playing laser tag, I ran over to do the Supergirl press room which was probably my favorite of the con! I met some new friends and got to listen to everyone talk about the new show. You can watch all of my interviews that I did with the cast right here.
Another highlight of my con was talking to Robin Lord Taylor while at the Gotham signing! He was so nice and made my day! Seeing the rest of the cast was pretty damn great as well.
Speaking of casts, it was then time for me to run over to NERD HQ and see The Maze Runner panel which I was super lucky to get tickets to! It was a really fun panel and I actually shared more of my thoughts on it over at Agents of Geek, which can be read here.
You would’ve thought I’d have been worn out by the day, but nope because right after, my friend Joie texted me saying there was room in Hall H for the Warner Bros. panel. I ran and met up with Gladys and guess what?! We got in!!! We all got to see the cast of Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Gotham, and Supergirl. We even got to see the pilot episode of Supergirl. So worth the energy.
It was such a fun day! I didn’t have that much planned, but everything worked out perfectly and I was so so excited to see everybody! Till tomorrow… the very last day…
